Today has seen the steady arrival of the 2015 FIM World Champions to the Spanish city of Jerez ready for tomorrow’s FIM Gala Ceremony – 20.30hrs (local time). More than thirty champions will finally descend on the World Capital of Motorcycling for tomorrow evening’s main event in the beautiful Teatro Villamarta.
Ahead of the ceremony itself the 2015 FIM World Champions will team up with this year’s seven FIM Legends, who have also started to roll into town today, for the largest press conference of its kind in the fitting setting of the Museos de la Atalaya at 15.00hrs (local time).
The 2015 FIM World Champions who have already checked in to Jerez – include Jonathan Rea – FIM Superbike World Champion, Ryan Dungey – AMA Supercross World Champion, Antoine Meo - FIM E1 Enduro World Champion, and Marcus Ogemar-Hellgren – FIM Snowcross World Champion.
Those who also showed up this afternoon and were all happy to pose for the camera whilst the sun shone brightly overhead included Tai Woffinden – FIM Speedway Grand Prix World Champion, Emma Bristow – FIM Women’s Trial World Champion, Eero Remes – FIM E1 Enduro World Champion and Anthony Delhalle – FIM Endurance World Champion.
The majority of the remaining two-wheel heroes are due in town before the close of play today.
