2024 FIM TRIAL2 WORLD CHAMPION

Winner of the 2016 FIM 125cc Trial Cup, the fore runner of the FIM Trial3 World Championship, Britain’s Jack Peace–Sherco climbed the next rung of the ladder this year when he clinched the FIM Trial 2 World Championship. A title contender in 2021 when he won silver and again last season when he took bronze, the twenty-four-year-old finally struck gold in the class in 2024 with a measured and consistent performance. With three career wins in Trial 2 following his move up in 2017, Peace added to his tally almost immediately with victory on the second day of the opening round in Japan to take a nearly series lead, although he lost it next time out in Andorra despite finishing third on the opening day. In such a competitive class consistency is key and his seventh-place finish on day two in Andorraappeared to spur him on and for the next four rounds and six scoring days he wasnever offthe podiumwith awin on day two inItaly before taking a double victory in Belgium. Holding the championship lead heading into the deciding round in Spain, he soaked up weekend-long pressure before clinching the title on the final day.
