The FIM International Six Days’ of Enduro Junior World Trophy competition gives the sport’s youngriders the opportunity to shine on a global stage and this year’sevent–staged in Silleda in the Galiciaregion of Spain–saw Swedenmake an indelible markon the ninety-eighth edition of the oldest eventon the FIM calendar.
With six days of unrelenting racing,fortunes in the NOCO FIM 6DAYS® canchangein the blink of aneye, butthe Swedeswere among the pre-event favourites with Max Ahlin (KTM) and AxelSemb (Fantic)finishing one-two in this year’s FIM Junior Enduro World Championship and Albin Norrbin (Fantic) a former FIM Youth Enduro World Champion.With Ahlin setting the fastest time, Sweden seized an early advantage to lead defending champions France by fifteen seconds after the opening day before easing ahead towiden the gap to over two minutes at the close of day three. Fastest times for Ahlin on daysfourand five helped Sweden maintain the lead before the deciding sixthday. It was a pivotal moment for the Swedes who lost a commanding lead on a dramaticf inal day last year, but this time around the talented trio secured victory.
